The Kwakiutl carved panel design from 2024’s The Hunter returns in grander form for 2025, re-created on a larger 76.25 mm canvas that gives the Eagle more room to spread its wings in flight. The Eagle, master of the skies, and the Orca, guardian of the sea, are both beautifully highlighted in yellow gold plating. Each side of this 10 oz .9999 fine silver coin features an engraved woodgrain pattern inspired by western red cedar, while a twisted cedar rope frame closely borders the design for an authentic, carved-panel appearance.

Reverse: Designed by Kwakiutl artist Jason Hunt and rendered in the traditional Northwest Coast formline style, the coin’s reverse depicts the Eagle—the master of the skies—hunting from above as it soars through the air, while the Orca’s fin emerges through the waves below. To emulate the look of a hand-carved Kwakiutl cedar wood panel, both the reverse and obverse feature an engraved woodgrain texture and a rope-like frame.
