Background

For the MintDirect® process, FMV Gold uses a machine for the sealing process to guarantee the Gold Maple Leaf coins you receive are completely sealed directly after removal from the mint boxes. Mint tubes are placed on a conveyor belt leading into the machine where the tube is sealed on both ends with tamper-evident packaging. After completion, the tube is removed from the machine and the quality of the packaging is checked to ensure it meets our exacting standards. Once this process is completed, you now have a tube of MintDirect® Premier + PCGS FirstStrike® 2025 1 oz Gold Maple Leaf coins. The Gold Maple LeafThe Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coin is one of the most popular and highly respected gold bullion coins in the world. Its design is iconic and its purity is unrivaled. The coin began as .999 fine gold, but its purity was increased to .9999 in 1982. Whether you're new to investing in gold or an experienced collector, the Canadian Gold Maple Leaf coin is a great addition to any collection.
The Royal Canadian Mint's Bullion DNA Program Each coin in this 2025 Gold Maple Leaf series features a textured security privy mark, micro-engraved with laser technology, and visible only under magnification. Originally introduced into production in 2015 with the mint’s Bullion DNA program, each coin is also etched within the Maple Leaf security mark with two digits indicating the coin's production year. Each micro-engraving is encoded, scanned and recorded at the mint for future authentication, giving each coin their unique Bullion DNA.

Note: These coins will come in BU, or Brilliant Uncirculated, condition, meaning that there will be no wear on the coin, though light contact marks and spotted surfaces are possible. The MintDirect® process does not guarantee protection from spotting or tarnishing that normally occurs in chemically active metals such as gold, silver and platinum.
